Celebration of this extraordinary draw

The Hispanic Day is celebrated every October 12th and commemorates the arrival of Christopher Columbus in what was then known as the ´new world´, specifically his landing at the Guanamí Island.

As is common in the National Lottery, this historic date for our country is a perfect occasion to carry out an extraordinary lottery draw. These are held on Saturdays, so each year the date varies, always choosing the Saturday that is closest to October 12th. This year, this extraordinary lottery draw will take place on October 14th at 1:00 p.m. in the Madrid Lottery Draw Room, following the traditional system of multiple drums.
